Welcome to Steadwood

Steadwood was established in 2003 to provide land-owners, farmers, and enthusiastic wood-workers in the greater Pittsburgh area with on-site sawmill services, and a source for locally sourced specialty wood products and lumber.

Our portable sawmill can turn your raw logs into your rough-cut lumber, ready for drying and pre-finishing. Use this lumber for garden projects, fine woodworking, or put it through final finishing at a local millwork.

We also stock an inventory of high end and specialty wood products, including several species of hardwood, live edged lumber, burls, and art wood.
